The aim of this fund is to support outstanding research within the remit of the Wellcome Trust - biomedical sciences and medical humanities - that will enable the University to strategically advance research in these areas and to leverage further funding from the Wellcome Trust and other funding sources.
ISSF Seed Corn Fund Year 3 funding now open to applications
The fourth call for applications to the University’s Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund (ISSF) Seed Corn Fund is now open.
The proposed project must be within the remit of the Wellcome Trust and aligned with the Trust’s strategic priority areas.
Each award will be in the region of £10K to £20K, and up to a maximum of 12 months in duration with an anticipated start date in April 2014.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 7th March.
