Outreach: working with schools and colleges

Outreach in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences

The College works extensively with schools across the Southwest bringing the expertise of our academics to a younger audience, helping to inspire a new generation of scientists.

Across our four disciplines we actively work with local schools, providing seminars and resources to help gain a better understanding of our work.

The College is also proud to play an active role in national events such as National Science and Engineering Week as well as helping organise regional events such as Big Bang South West and Science in the Sqaure. We have also run a Bioblitz on each campus led by naturalist and television presenter Nick Baker.

If you have any questions about our work please contact us.
