Congratulations on securing your place to study in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Exeter, in what has been a tumultuous time for many of you in your final period of study at school or college. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and wish you every success in your forthcoming studies over the coming years.

In coming to study with us you will join a vibrant, multinational and friendly community of students, academic and professional services staff, all working together to deliver a really excellent educational experience for you.

I am proud to be part of such an inspiring and exciting community and I am very pleased to welcome you to that community as a new student at the University of Exeter.

We will be updating these pages regularly during August and September as new details of induction and welcome activities are released, so please ensure you check back here frequently for updates.

Before you arrive: online induction courses

Starting a new university course is an exciting moment, but we also know that you’ve probably got lots of questions and (maybe) a few worries about what to expect, especially with all of the additional challenges presented by the global pandemic.

Whether you’re joining Exeter as a new undergraduate or postgraduate student, we have prepared a short induction course all about helping you to feel confident and happy during your first couple of weeks with us. We want you to get the most out of your time with us, both in your academic studies and in all of the extra-curricular activities that are on offer. You can also start to get to know fellow students before you arrive, via the online discussions.

To start your induction, select the link for your campus below and register with your personal email address. If you're not sure which campus your programme is based on, you can check on the programme pages: undergraduate programmes here and postgraduate prorgrammes here.
