Fire Safety

If you discover a fire.

  1. Sound the alarm;
  2. Call the fire service from the nearest SAFE telephone (999 from any public/mobile phone; 9999 from any internal telephone);
  3. Give the address of the building you are in:

  4. Go to the nearest fire assembly point.

If you hear the fire alarm

  1. If you have responsibility for a colleague with special needs: contact that person and give assistance.
  2. Go to the assembly point.
  3. Do not re-enter the building until told that it is safe to do so.
