What has been the highlight of your time at Exeter?

The field courses for sure! I was lucky enough to go to Cyprus and South Africa, and both times I learnt a substantial amount about the natural world, scientific research and developing research ideas!

What will you miss the most about university?

The bioscience lecturers were particularly inspiring, and their overwhelming passion for science was reflected in their ability to teach, their relationship with the students, and generally going that extra mile to help – really quite unique to this University!

What did you enjoy about your particular programme?

There were some brilliant modules such as science in society – which I felt was applicable to real life future work!

What advice would you give to current and future students?

Get stuck in! You’re surrounded by like-minded people with similar interests and a campus with really great facilities – make the most of it!

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

I have managed to get a presenting job on CBeebies, and while I have a few more job opportunities, I am hoping to do my Masters either in Bristol or Edinburgh!
